Become a Funeral Celebrant
You will learn how a Professional Independent Funeral Celebrant works within the UK funeral industry. You will learn what to do from receiving a referral from a Funeral Director right through to delivering a dignified & professional funeral service.
After completing a range of assessments & upon passing, you will receive a certificate to demonstrate that you have qualified as a trained Funeral Celebrant from The Celebrant Training School.

How you will learn
As well as watching a number of videos you will be asked to complete a number of quizzes to check your understanding, you will complete written and live practical assessments for grading and feedback. In Modules 2 -6 you will have 1-to-1 tutorials with David for support & guidance as well as opportunities to connect with other trainee Celebrants.
Meet the instructor
David Willis
David Willis is an Independent Funeral Celebrant working across Sheffield, Rotherham and North Derbyshire. David has been an educator for 23 years, teaching business and economics and working 15 years in senior leadership developing other educators, including as a headteacher.
David wrote and delivered his first funeral service over 10 years ago when his father died. He has worked "behind the scenes" He has a deep experience of working with a comprehensive range of families, he has worked in the funeral industry to deepen his knowledge and understanding. As well as writing and delivering cremation and burial services, David also supports other Celebrants in their professional development.
